For Anak Group, L. Efraim designed the façades of two residential towers at the Ir Yamim project in Netanya, covering approximately 25,000 m² of 2 mm aluminium cladding. The façade engineering considered the towers’ proximity to the Mediterranean Sea, with material selection and envelope details developed as part of a comprehensive system suited to the marine environment.

Designing a Façade Built for Life Near the Sea

At the Ir Yamim project in Netanya, the residential towers’ proximity to the Mediterranean Sea was a key consideration in the façade engineering process. The challenge was to develop an envelope system with material selection and façade details specifically considered for the demanding marine environment.

Engineering Two Residential Towers with Aluminium Cladding

For Anak Group, the L. Efraim team designed the façades of two residential towers, covering approximately 25,000 m² of 2 mm aluminium cladding. From the initial engineering details through to the completed façades, each element was developed as part of one comprehensive building-envelope system, with the surrounding marine environment considered throughout the design process.

A dimensional tolerance of ±5 mm was maintained for accurate fabrication, alignment and installation.
